RATATOUILLE
This week in 7 / 8 BA, we started our Film Study. Obviously we needed a food related movie to fit in our with our interest topics, and so, we watched.... Disney's Ratatouille! So far we have just watched it once and formed our first impressions. Check out the trailer and read our thoughts on the film in the comments below.

ReplyDeleteThis movie is about a dish called Ratatouille its been created by a rat Reme and chef Liguinne and other rats. Also they tried to impress the food critic, using Chef Liguinne’s fathers recipe. Reme wanted humans to never see rats and never try to trap them. The villain Skinner tried to stop Reme completing from his dream.
The film was quite exciting and funny I would give it 10 out of 10. They did impossible things like being struck by lightning and surviving. Also rats cooking, speaking and gliding on paper ridiculous but entertaining. My favorite character is Remme because he can cook food that chef Liguinne cannot. He knows the secret formulas to make food exciting.He is nice to the food critic and other chefs.
It made me think of trying Ratatouille. It made me think of making a new restaurant with new recipes like the secret formula.Sometimes using teamwork can get the job done faster/quicker than by your self. How the critic was amazed by dish called Ratatouille and Skinner was amazed as well.
in the movie ratatouille we are introduce to a rat and he was driven away from his family and they all end in Paris where remi ends up living with a human and cooking with a human and Impress a food critic by cooking ratatouille I like the movie ratatouille because it proves that anyone can cook even a rat. over all I would give the movie a 8/10

ReplyDeleteThe movie ratatouille is about a rat called remy that can cook. He puppets Linguini and shows him how to cook because remy can cook and linguini can’t cook. I liked this movie because it has really good special effects and the characters are really original. I think Gesteau’s motto “anyone can cook” is a really good motto because it means that you don’t have to be a professional to be good at something. I will give this movie 3.5 stars.
I liked ratatouille because the graphics were really good and liked that the rat couldn't communicate properly with the human because I just find it weird when the animals can talk in movies and the humans can under stand.i also liked the character remmy because at first he was against stealing and then all,of a sudden round the end he helps the whole colony steal food from the resteraunt!the end

Really? Remy was against stealing at the start? What was he doing in the old ladies kitchen at the beginning of the film? I agree with your point about animals communicating with humans.

but this movie was very different to anything I have ever seen, I en
joyed watching this film. I was instantly connected to him and was not happy when he was captured by chef skinner. It even made me rethink eating vegetables.

Ratatouille movie review
ReplyDeleteIn the movie ratatouille a rat called Remy gets separated from his clan and ends up underneath Paris. Remy has an incredible gift. Food. he has highly developed taste and smell. after ending up in paris remy finds himself in front of Gustueas restaurant, his idol chef. Remy puppets linguini to make food and in the end Anton Ego loves the Ratatouille that they serve him.
I think the film ratatouille was highly enjoyable because it has easy to love characters (clumsy funny linguini, sweet, smart remy and more) and the animation is so realistic.
It taught me that 'you don't have to be good at something to do it' and 'believe in yourself'
I would probably give ratatouille a 4 star rating because it is well thought out and really captures your attention straight away.
I think that ratatouille is a amazing extraordinary film to show that "anyone can cook" to surprising levels.
ReplyDeleteBecause in this movie a rat named Remy has a passion for cooking but gets separated from his parents and ends up into Paris seeing the most famous Restaurant in the world and gets caught by a garbage boy and slowly ends into being the best chef known to man
I give It a 6.5 out of 10
its amazing because reamy is a rat and as a rat they are pests but in this twist and tern of events anyone can cook but in this case anything can cook...
ReplyDeleteratatouille is about a rat called Remy who loves cooking and he finds out he can control a human called Linguine. Linguine does not know how to cook so Remy helped him because he black mailed him if did not he would die so Remy kind off had to do what he said and so they made some awesome stuff and it all was a happy ending until they got shut down because of Remys stupid family came to the kitchen and someone sore them but now Linguine and his girl friend started a new business and they are happy now. the end
